Many of our actions require something a little bit smaller and more manoeuvrable than our full sized ships. From stopping coal freighters to protecting whales, our inflatables are on the front line of defence against environmental destruction. It’s dangerous work but this gift will help keep the crew safe.
How this gift works...
Peaceful direct actions are a key part of all Greenpeace’s campaigns, getting the message across to governments or corporations who are committing environmental crimes. Rhibs (rigid-hulled inflatable boats) are involved in many of our water-based actions. To ensure the safety of the crew, all our rhibs contain a kit including an EPIRB (emergency position indicating radio beacon), water, a waterproof torch and other emergency essentials.
