Where does the money go?
When you buy a Greenpeace gift, we don't actually giftwrap a lifejacket and deliver it Santa-like to an activist on the ocean. Instead, the money goes to funding the activities like that of the environmental campaign that your gift represents. And your friend receives a card describing how your present is helping the planet.
So when you give handcuffs, a lifejacket, armchair activism or an inflatable safety kit, you help fund our creative, non-violent actions that target the powerful, expose environmental crime and force positive change.
And when you give the gift of climate activism, or a snapper for your grandchildren or an ancient forest, your money directly funds our successful environmental campaign work.
How do you 'give' a gift?
Once you have chosen your gift from our catalogue, you will be prompted to choose a free gift card from our collection. Your free card will be delivered to your lucky recipient with a message inside about the gift you have bought them and how this gift will help save the environment. Your card will be sent by email and you can include your own personal message. You can even preview the card before you authorise us to send it on your behalf.
