Selecting a gift from the home page
Choosing a gift from the Greenpeace Giving home page is easy. Just click on one of the large or small product images OR click on one of the small image headlines OR if you want to purchase one of the featured products, you can also click on the 'details' and 'buy' links.
The 'Choose a gift' link in the top menu bar will also take you to the gift catalogue.
Purchasing a gift
To purchase a gift just click on the product or product image you want, enter the quantity of items you would like to purchase in the 'Quantity' button and click 'Add'. The item will then be added to your shopping basket and you will be asked to choose a gift card. If you wish to buy more than one item, simply click the back button or 'Choose a gift' from the top menu bar to return to the gift catalogue.
You will have the chance to change your gift card and/or delete items in your Shopping Basket before you proceed to the Checkout
Choosing a card
Choosing a card is a great way to let your friend or family member know that you have bought them a gift.
After you have chosen a product, you will be prompted to choose a free card. Simply make your card selection then click 'Next'. You will then be asked to nominate when you want the card sent (via email). If you do not require a card, please click the 'I don't want a card' option.
Shopping basket
To view your gift and card selections, click on 'View Basket' in the top menu bar at any time. Your shopping basket will show you what products you have selected and the price. You may delete products here by clicking the red 'Delete' box and change your card selection by clicking 'Change' under the card selected.
Using the Checkout Part 1: Enter payment details
Supporter ID
If you are a Greenpeace financial supporter, you will have a supporter ID number. If you know your number please enter it in the space provided. This enables us to process your gift more efficiently.
Date of birth
Entering your date of birth helps us to identify you in the future, differentiate shoppers with the same name and protect your privacy.
My personal details
You need to fill in this section so that we can send you a receipt and contact you if anything happens to your order.
If you supply your email address, we will be able to email you confirmation of your order.
Greenpeace values your privacy as much as you do. Please check out our privacy policy.
My payment details
Tell us what kind of credit card you want to pay with and enter all the details. Please be sure not to include spaces between groups of numbers.
My donation
If you would like to include a donation to Greenpeace with your order, simply fill in the amount you would like to donate and we will add it to your total. All donations over $5.00 are tax deductible (so are all the gifts in our shop). Thank you for your generous support.
When you have completed all the details, click 'Submit'.
Using the Checkout Part 2: Confirming your order
Before we process your payment, you can check the information entered and confirm whether it is correct. This gives you a chance to just check everything over before the payment is processed.
Basket
To change items in your basket, click 'Edit basket content'.
Payment details
To change payment details, click 'Edit payment details'.
When you are happy with your order details, check the box at the bottom of the page and click 'Confirmed'.
Is my information secure?
To protect the transfer of personal and financial information between your browser and our servers, Greenpeace New Zealand uses an industry standard 128/256 bit SSL encryption. This means that your financial information is secure when you purchase a gift on this site. The small lock or key symbol in your browser's status bar indicates that you are securely connected.
Financial transactions and personal information is stored in our secure database server, and we have strict security guidelines to protect this data. Our privacy policy governs the use and release of this data.
Using the Checkout Part 3: Thank you
After we have processed your order, a thank you message will come up. If you provided your email address, we will also send you an email confirmation of purchase.
